After the kick-off meeting in Ljubljana, the members of the INEVITABLE project finally managed to meet again for a face-to-face project meeting, which took place from 28. to 29. September 2022. This time the consortium was hosted by AZTERLAN Metallurgy Research Centre and Eibar Precision Casting in Durango/Bilbao, Spain. We discussed the work done in the last 6 months and prepared a plan for our activities for the last part of the project. We also had the opportunity to visit the impressive capabilities of AZTERLAN, a metallurgical research institute, and the production facilities of EIPC, where aluminium, steel and superalloy components are produced by the lost wax process. The special focus was given to overview the INEVITABLE solutions for the process digitization uptake and enabling cognitive reasoning.

In the end, the meeting was perfectly enriched with Bilbao cuisine and warm hospitality.
