PROJECT WP STRUCTURE

PROJECT WP STRUCTURE

The project is divided into 10 work packages. The work packages are structured in a way to cover all significant aspects of the project and to fully realize the project objectives.

WP2 is responsible for transferring the actual use cases’ needs into a formal overview of requirements and to provide detailed use cases specifications, while covering all enabling technologies needed to perform digital transformation and optimization of selected production processes.

WP3 will undertake the solutions and approaches to perform shop-floor data collection and to implement advanced sensor technologies as well as long-term data acquisition periods.

WP4 will develop the analytics and decision support solutions (tools).

WP5 will define the complex factory digitalization infrastructure that will be able to integrate whole ecosystem into interconnected digital factory.

The individual solutions, developed within the enabling-technology WPs will be utilized for digitalization and optimization of three different metallurgic use cases (UC) dedicated to the steel and the nonferrous metal sector, where each use case has its own WP (i.e. WP7, WP8, WP9).

WP6 is dedicated to uniformly validate the UC outcomes, regarding the aspects of relevant performance indicators (efficiency, environmental benefits, productivity, product quality, economic assessment, etc.).
