Deliverable 6.2 Final quantification of the economic impact of improved manufacturing processes routes

The present document constitutes the deliverable D6.2 of the SPIRE project titled “Optimization and performance improving in metal industry by digital technologies” (Project Acronym: INEVITABLE; Grant agreement no.: 869815 [1]).
The goal of WP6 is to verify operating profit that industrial plants can achieve by digitalizing selected processes. Industrial and environmental benefits will be monitored in parallel to the social acceptance.
The contents of deliverable D6.2 provide a comprehensive summary of the endeavors undertaken in Task 6.1 of WP6. This task involved translating the impact of newly developed and industrially implemented sensors and decision support systems (DSS) into economic benefits by analyzing the evolution of the relevant KPIs identified in WP2 for each use case (UC).
A common working space has been created in the MS Teams platform to monitor KPIs related to the environment and the process, and to visualize the results of the conducted surveys among industrial partners’ staffs.
Deliverable D6.2 is a continuation of D6.1 [2], which reflects the advancements made in the project from month 33 to month 42. This report expands on the material covered in D6.1 and offers an overview of the project’s accomplishments during this timeframe.
