Deliverable 6.4 Final quantification of the environmental impact of improved manufacturing processes routes

The present document constitutes the deliverable D6.4 of the SPIRE project titled “Optimization and performance improving in metal industry by digital technologies” (Project Acronym: INEVITABLE; Grant agreement no.: 869815[1]).
The goal of WP6 is to verify operating benefits that industrial plants can achieve by digitalizing selected processes. Industrial and environmental benefits will be monitored in parallel to the social acceptance.
The deliverable D6.4 contains details on the activities of Task 6.2 of WP6 concerning the impact of newly developed and industrially implemented sensors and decision support systems (DSS) on topics directly connected to resources consumption and environment. The follow-up work has been done through the corresponding KPIs identified in WP2 for each UC.
A common working space has been created in the MS Teams platform to monitor KPIs related to the environment and the process, and to visualize the results of the conducted surveys among industrial partners’ staffs.
Deliverable D6.4 is the second part of deliverable D6.3 [2] that follows up on the progress made in the project from month 33 to month 42. This document builds on the content presented in D6.3 and provides an update on the project’s achievements during this period.
